Night light up Paddle boarding
Good quality equipment and friendly environment. Loved the light up paddle boarding at night. Got to see the gorgeous sunset too.

Awesome!
Best beach rental guy ever! Laid back and super friendly! We saw dolphins and sea turtles while paddle boarding! So glad we picked Mad Beach Paddle Sports! Public parking right in front of his spot and a snack bar, easy to find. Great day!

Fast, Convenient Service, Great Advice, Awesome experience!
We usually rent from another company during our short breaks to the area, but this time we wanted to try exploring a new area and I'm so glad we did! We called, met at a convenient launch point, and were on the intercoastal waterway within 90minutes of deciding to SUP! He even gave us tips for neat features to explore in the area, which turned out to be the best part. The price for our 2 hour rental was much lower than we have seen elsewhere, and the service and equipment were great. I cannot wait to go again, and will definitely be calling here first!

Girls trip!
We rented kayaks and paddle boards. Great service! They met us on time and were very friendly and competent. Equipment was well maintained. I would highly recommend Mad Beach Paddlesports! Saw dolphins and manatees!!!!

First time paddle boarding.
I've been wanting to tryout paddle boarding and decided there was no time like the present. Did a little research and Mad Beach had the best prices and they delivered. Called him up and he was at our condo in 30 minutes or less. When I called to have him pick it up he was there In 20. Very nice guy, gave me instructions on how to do it and had no problem at all. My children 8 and 10 and other family and friends loved it as much as I did. I recommend the all day rental it's definitely worth it and only $15 more than the 2 hr.

Good place to rent from. Was priced as everyone else, but a lot nicer. delivery made simple, pick up to. Really nice team of people. We are going back in 2018 and will be calling hem again.

Excellent service!!!
The staff was very helpful in accommodating my 8 year old niece who could not paddle on her own. He allowed me to take her as a passenger on mine after "other" companies told me to get a babysitter. My teenage daughter and other niece (first time stand up paddle boarder )had a great time and caught on quickly. We paddled out to a sand bar and spent the afternoon sunning and searching for critters. We didn't see dolphins or manatees, but we had a memorable, fun experience!

My family of 6 had an excellent time!!!!
Excellent customer service!!! Great ideas, and very flexible. My family of 6 first rented 4 paddle boards for 2 hours which turned out to be 2 1/2 hours without any additional charge. We were told about all the fabulous places to paddle to, and everyone had a blast! I had my 13 year old twins, and my 16 year old with me. Everyone loved it. The paddleboards are excellent!! Very sturdy, in great condition~ We had so much fun we rented 2 more for the entire day on Wednesday. Delivery and pickup was right at our hotel. All extras were included, a waterproof bag and waterproof cellphone case, Ideas on great places to put our boards in. I wish we had another day to do the moonlight Paddle! That tour looks super!!!! I know I will be using them again!! I love when I deal with a trustworthy and friendly business owner!! He was right on time and for our first rental, and the same for our second!! Thank you for having great equipment that was safe, new and kept in wonderful condition!! You will not go wrong if you rent from Mad Beach Paddlesports! Go have fun a rent on of their boards!!! or other water toys!

Awesome Time!
I loved our experience. We did the shell key excursion and it was like paddle boarding in a calendar--gorgeous. The water was calm we saw some stingrays and there was a duck following us that we watched dive and catch a fish. I definitely recommend it. The guide Jason is super friendly and gives great paddle boarding instructions.

Fabulous time paddle boarding!!
We were lucky enough to be staying on Madeira Beach this week, and decided to step out of our comfort zone and try a little stand-up paddle boarding! Jason from Mad Beach Paddlesports was super helpful. He met us on time at the predetermined location and had everything ready for us. With some direction and tips from Jason, we had a fabulous time paddling around and checking out the local scenery from the cool perspective of a paddle board. It was pretty easy and none of us fell off once! Highly recommend :) Thanks, Jason!

Great Option for Kayak Rental!
Great option for a last minute kayak rental! My wife and I wanted to do some kayaking in the Treasure Island area - called at 8 AM on a Sunday, and had a reservation for an hour and a half later. Did a self-guided tour on two single-kayaks, and had a great time! Definitely recommended!

First timers doing SUP
My husband and I were in the Madeira/St.Pete Beach area over Thanksgiving and decided to give SUP a try. A quick call to the main phone number made booking a reservation a breeze. The morning of our reservation our guide and Mad Beach owner, Jason, let us know if we wanted to meet a bit later due to some cold temps we could. Super nice gesture that we took him up on. After a quick how-to SUP lesson we were off. The bay Jason guided us through was gorgeous. We were able to see so many different species of birds and a few little fish. No dolphins on the trip but apparently he has seen them before. We ended up on Shell Key where we had a quick walk around and pondered how to quit our jobs and move to the beach. Soon enough we were back on the paddleboards heading to where we put it. Jason was great, it was worth every penny and were disappointed that we waited so long to give it a try. Next time we are in the area we will definitely use Mad Beach again.

Jason and team provided excellent service!! They delivered 4 boards to our place where we were staying for a week and picked them up when we were ready to leave. The boards were in excellent condition, the rates were very fair, and his advice was valuable. I did 5 different trips with my wife and kids over our time there (sunrise in the bay is epic!!!). We got into dolphins twice, manatees, stingrays, sharks, crabs, and all sorts of fish: amazing memories made on these paddleboards!!! Thank you from Wyoming!

Jason was so flexible with rescheduling our trip (twice) when our original date had to be cancelled due to inclement weather. So very knowledgeable, professional, and awesome!

Jason was an excellent guide on the Shell Key paddle board tour. My boys and I had so much fun and saw some awesome wildlife including dolphins and a hammerhead shark. I had never been on a paddle board, but I found it easy and relaxing. The service and communication was excellent as well, and Jason was so easy going that it was a completely stress free experience.

We did a 2 hour paddle board trip with Jason. Put in at Shells key. Couldn't be happier. Gave us a quick lesson and took us out. Had 11 in party ranging from 14 to 72. Everyone had a great time. He took half the party around a mangrove island and rest stayed near shore. Felt completely safe entire time. (It actually never got deeper than 3 feet!). Couldn't be happier. Highly recommend. Great family outing.

Not only is this the best place for Kayak rentals, the owner Jason is amazing! He dropped our 4 Kayaks off at our condo and picked them up at the end of the day! He had the best rates including a discounted group rate. Then found us a great captain named Al to drive us around on our Bowrider boat that we rented for the day after. Best trip ever and his sit in kayaks we're perfection. We we're 4 woman from age 50 to 58 and Jason told us how to get to Archie's Island then on to John's Pass for drinks and lunch and then we Kayaked back to our condo. Was so easy in those kayaks even with 2 of us having back surgery in the past. Peice of cake and the best Birthday week ever! If we can do it believe me anyone can. Jason made it so easy and gave us the confidence to give it a go. We will be back and will be telling all our friends to call Jason!

We did the Shell Key Preserve paddle tour and everything was wonderful. Jason was great about booking us last minute and giving us directions. We had the freedom to stay with the group or explore on our own. The trip through the mangrove tunnel was amazing! We will book again the next time we're in town!

Super friendly, prompt, professional and patient. If your new to any of the top notch kayaks or stand up boards, Jason or Barri make you feel comfortable on them before you decide what you want to rent. My husband decided we wanted to rent bikes earlier in the week so we called the contact number and Jason met us there within the time it took us to pack our beach belongings into our car at Maderia beach and walk over to the hotel. We were so impressed with Jason's laid friendly attitude that it was a no brainer when we wanted to try the SUP board later in the week out on the bay. Trying new things for the first time can be nerve racking, especially when someone doesn't care about your abilities or knowledge of the equipment that some rental places have to offer. Not at this place. Barri and Jason took care of us and had fun doing it. Both of us come from customer service backgrounds and are very aware of the way best way to offer the best experience possible,especially to two tourist from Iowa. Thanks guys for a wonderful honeymoon experience.

An exciting adventure for our #girlstrip2018!
I brought my 15 year old daughter and her best friend to Treasure Island for a girls get away. And I have to admit I was a little nervous about this because I had never been on a stand up paddle board before. And I wouldn’t say it was “easy” but it was definitely not super challenging! It was, however, super fun and it was a beautiful day on the water! Jason and Carrie were wonderful guides and made us feel very comfortable throughout the tour! And my girls even made new friends!! Very well worth it!

A unique paddle board experience!
Our family of four (ages 17 to 50) first time paddle boarders went on the sunset neon paddleboard adventure in June 2018. We made our purchase six weeks in advance, and experienced great communication at both the time of purchase and the week of our trip. Jason and Carrie were very personable and helpful in getting us acclimated to the paddle board. They were both patient when we were getting used to it, and provided a variety of options to allow us to be successful. They even happened to have a GoPro attachment that we were able to use. We loved getting to watch the sunset from the sand bar, and were able to be within feet of dolphins on the paddle back.

So fun! Amazing paddle/kayak trip!!
Jason and Barrie were so friendly and helpful. Jason brought all of the gearneeded was super easy going and fun. He led us on a paddle trip to a white sand island and then through a mangrove tunnel! We were a group of 12 women of all different experience levels and everyone had the best time ever! We saw fish, sharks, dolphins, shells! Highly recommend this tour for all ages and groups. Thank you so much!!!
