A reservation is required for all rentals and tours. We take payment at the time of reservation.
Guest Cancellation
Appointments cancelled 48 hours in advance of your scheduled activity will receive a refund. Appointments that are not cancelled 48 hours in advance will NOT receive a full refund. Same day cancellations are not eligible for refunds. We can offer a voucher at 50% of your scheduled activity for same day cancellations.
Vendor Cancellation
We can reschedule your activity or offer full refunds for severe weather cancellations.
Wind speeds exceeding 15 mph or lightning will cancel a reservation. Light wind, light rain, or light fog will NOT cancel a reservation. No refund will be given for a reason other than severe weather for cancellation.
Damages
We greatly appreciate every one of our customers. We take exceptional care of our inventory - so it's in good condition for you. And we know you will take good care of it too. But accidents happen, and in order to keep things in tip top shape - We have to charge for damages. And that's where it gets tough, because repairs can cost us more than we charge for rentals. For example, a damaged fin box costs $100 to repair!
As long as the SUPs don't get banged into the shore - or - seawall - or jetty they will not get damaged! We don't like to charge you for damages, but we must to keep our equipment prime. As long as you are aware - things will not get damaged. Thank you for treating our equipment like it's yours.
Timely Return of Equipment
We can reserve your equipment for use for 2 hours, 4 hours, or longer. We often schedule multiple appointments in a day. We do not have an agent on duty full time at the dock. We must have the boards and kayaks returned on time per your reserved timeframe to keep to our schedule. We know things don't always go as planned. If you happen to return early, just give us a call. We always have someone standing by. If you are late, we can give you an extra 15 minutes to get your kayaks or paddleboards back to the launch point. If you can't get back on time or within 15 extra minutes, we have to charge you for the next hour. Thank you for for returning equipment on time for the next guest.
Return of Equipment After Close
We close at 6pm. Guests are strongly encouraged to not keep equipment past close. Late returns after close will be charged overtime rates. We offer sunset tours if you would like to stay out later during Summer.
Stranded Pick Ups
Our suggested route is easy for beginners. Sometimes the wind can make paddling difficult. We urge our guests to refrain from paddling too far from our location. If you put yourself in a position where we have to come pick up a stranded paddleboard or kayak, you will be charged $75 per item. If you rent 2 paddleboards and can't get back, that's $150. So please use good judgment.
